Three years after the Saw franchises most shocking ending to date, Saw 4 picks up the storyline from Saw 3. Just when Detective Hoffman thought that hed taken out his predecessor, Jigsaw, he discovers that Jigsaw had one more game planned. This game is going to be bigger and more twisted than any of Jigsaws previous traps, and Detective Hoffman will have to use all of his resources to survive.

Jigsaws new game involves eight strangers who awaken in an underground facility, each with a strange device attached to their heads. In order to escape, they must complete a series of tasks given to them by Jigsaw. Meanwhile, Detective Hoffman is tracking down Jigsaws accomplices, while trying to shut down the facility and stop the game before anyone else gets hurt.

Jigsaw and his accomplices have a few surprises up their sleeve and soon Detective Hoffman finds himself in a race against the clock to save the strangers and put an end to Jigsaws game. With the threat of death and imprisonment looming, the players must work together to find a way out of the trap or suffer gruesome consequences. Saw 4 takes the horror franchise to a whole new level as Hoffman and the other players are forced to face their darkest fears and seek answers to the most difficult questions.
