Saw 3D is a 2010 American horror film directed by Kevin Greutert from a screenplay by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan and story by Patrick Melton, Marcus Dunstan and Jason Constantine. It is the seventh installment in the Saw franchise and stars Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, Betsy Russell, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Cary Elwes.

The story centers on Hoffman (Mandylor) as the last surviving apprentice of Jigsaw (Bell). He is determined to carry on his late mentors legacy by continuing the intricate games that test moral limits and stretch the boundaries of human endurance. With the help of his loyal protégé, Hoffman traps and tortures a group of victims in an attempt to complete Jigsaws final legacy.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Daniel Rigg (Flanery) is called back to the police force to help solve the case. As the mystery of Jigsaws creation and motives are revealed, Rigg must find a way to put an end to the torture for good.

The film received mixed reviews from critics upon its release, although it was a commercial success. It was the last film in the franchise to be released theatrically before the 2019 release of Spiral: From the Book of Saw.

Saw 3D grossed over $136.3 million on a budget of $20 million, and was the highest grossing movie in the franchise. The film was followed by a direct-to-video sequel, titled Jigsaw, in 2017.
