Power Book IV: Force is a crime drama series following the life of Tariq St. Patrick as he pushes beyond the legacy left by his late father, James Ghost St. Patrick. The series follows Tariq as he navigates the dangerous drug world of the Southside, determined to make a name for himself. The series is set to follow Tariq as he attempts to build his own criminal empire and ultimately legitimize his business while keeping his family safe in the process. With the help of his loyal crew, Tariq plans to tear down the empire his father left behind and replace it with his own. Power Book IV: Force is expected to explore the legal complexities of the drug trade, as well as the physical and emotional toll it can take on its players. The series will also explore the fallout of Tariqs relationships with his family and his friends, as well as the cause and effects of his decisions. The series will bring back some familiar faces from the original Power series, such as Tommy (Joseph Sikora), Tariqs mentor, and the formidable Tasha St. Patrick (Naturi Naughton). Power Book IV: Force is set to premiere in mid-2021 and will be available on the Starz streaming service.
