Archer is an American adult computer-animated television series created by Adam Reed for the FXX network. It follows Sterling Archer, an agent of the fictional International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS) and his colleagues. The show is set in a world populated by various anthropomorphic animal characters.
The series debuted on September 17, 2009, and is produced by Floyd County Productions. The show is based on a comic book series of the same name created by Adam Reed and colorist Chad Hurd.
The series has received critical acclaim since its debut and is currently in its 11th and penultimate season on FXX. The show has been nominated for numerous awards including four Primetime Emmy Award nominations. It has also been praised for its sophisticated animation and art style.
